The UK's hottest chilli sauce?

The Dorset Naga chilli pepper has been known to measure over 1,000,000 units on the Scoville heat scale. To put this into perspective, until 2007 the Guinness World Record for the hottest chilli was held by a Red Savina chilli, measured at 577,000 units.

Made with a searing 25% Dorset Naga content, Gringo Macho is not for the faint hearted. The extreme heat of the Dorset Naga chilli cannot be understated or understood until experienced. Enough to bring even the most hardy chilli connoisseur to their knees so use with extreme caution.

Ideal for chilli con carne dishes or any Mexican dish requiring heat, add a small amount of Macho at a time until the desired taste is reached. One teaspoon of Macho will provide enough fire for a hot chilli for two people.

Grow for Gringley Gringo

We have expanded the original Grow For Gringley project, involving as many local schools and community groups as we can growing chilli peppers in greenhouses, cold frames or window sills. We continue to supply the chilli plants, the schools and community groups then grow the chillis which we then buy back. In this financial climate this gives a much needed boost to the school or groups funds as well as a valuable educational experience!
