Gringley Gringo home-made chilli products Gringley Gringo was established in August 2005 in the village of Gringley-On-The-Hill in Nottinghamshire, supplying a range of high quality chilli products to delicatessens, farm shops and restaurants in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
The company remained a part-time business yet built a solid reputation of quality, excellent service and community involvement. Debby Porter used to work for Gringley Gringo, running several farmers markets and trade shows. When Jodie, the previous owner relocated to Wales, Debby bought the company with business partner Sarah Priestley in June 2008. |

Since then, production has really stepped up a gear. Gringley Gringo now run several farmers markets and attend a number of major trade and consumer exhibitions, as well as supplying a much greater range of trade customers across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
Although the business has grown exponentially since the change of ownership, each chilli product is still (and always will be) lovingly home-made. We may use larger pans now, but our fundamental ethics of quality, service and moral responsibility haven't changed. It is for this reason that you'll never find our products in the supermarkets, as we have no desire to sell mass-produced products at over-inflated prices. As a result, most of our orders are from repeat customers and we benefit from many recommendations. |
