Tastes Of Lincolnshire

Welcome to a county proud to produce around one-fifth of Britain’s food. This remarkable achievement is thanks to the vast, fertile farmland and rich rural landscape of Lincolnshire. These farmlands have had careful guardians for centuries, farming families raising cattle, sheep, pigs and deer and growing a wealth of different vegetables.
Tastes Of Lincolnshire
Get closer to the flavour with a few of the county’s distinctly different tastes, including Lincoln Red beef, stuffed chine, plumbread, Lincolnshire sausages, Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese, fresh Ostrich and a superb selection of vegetables, all combining to offer a mouthwatering choice. It's no suprise that Lincolnshire has more Farmers Markets than any other county.

One time the world's largest fishing industry, today it brings fresh fish to the county's shops and markets daily.

In every corner of Lincolnshire you’ll find local producers, shops and farm shops, farmhouse B&B's and guesthouses, hotels, pubs, cafes, restaurants, supplying local produce and flying the Tastes of Lincolnshire flag. The Tastes of Lincolnshire logo is your assurance of quality, locally produced goods.
The official champion for Tastes of Lincolnshire is celebrity chef Rachel Green. Rachel grew up on a farm in Lincolnshire and promotes the goodness and variety available; her mantra for gourmet dining is eat locally, eat seasonally, eat well. Look out for Rachel at Tastes of Lincolnshire Events.

Tastes of Lincolnshire is a Lincolnshire County Council and European Union funded project encouraging people to choose local food and drinks.

Gringley Gringo Ltd are based in neighbouring Nottinghamshire, not Lincolnshire. We are however a passionate supporter of locally produced goods and as we're based near the Lincolnshire border, we have a large number of trade customers who are part of the Taste Of Lincolnshire project. For these reasons we are delighted to be members.
